Can we unlock heritage by engaging in dialogue with it?
Can the public engage directly with Vincent van Gogh? Based on more than 800 letters in which he describes his circumstances, work and emotions, a so-called Digital Twin has been developed. Enriched with additional sources and skills, and created with respect for copyrights, ethics and privacy. This gives the public the opportunity to experience his thoughts, struggles, vulnerability, and passion in a vivid and meaningful encounter.
